🌵 Requirements:
1️⃣ 5+ years recruiting engineers, with a track record of closing senior and staff-level backend, infrastructure, or systems roles.
2️⃣ Strong sourcing instincts. You enjoy the hunt and have your own playbook for finding people who aren’t on the market.
3️⃣ Technical fluency. You don’t need to code, but you can talk distributed systems, databases, and performance with engineers without losing them.
4️⃣ Startup or high-growth experience where you were expected to move fast and get it right.
5️⃣ The confidence to push back on hiring managers and drive alignment.
6️⃣ Clear, direct communication and real follow-through.
7️⃣ A bias for action and ownership of outcomes, not just activity.
💡 Nice to Have
1️⃣ Experience recruiting at an infrastructure, devtools, cloud, or trading-technology company.
2️⃣ A network in the Rust or systems engineering community.
3️⃣ Experience with Ashby and AI-assisted sourcing tools.
