- Hex Technologies: Legal Ops
Hex Technologies
Headquarters: NYC or Remote (EST or CST) About the role: Hex’s legal function has gone from zero to a fully operating system in under a year. Now we need someone to own and scale the operating layer so it holds as the company grows. This is a builder role. You’ll run contract operations end to end: CLM administration, workflow optimization, template and playbook maintenance, enablement and training for the revenue team, and first-pass review and redlining of standard agreements against our playbook. Beyond contracts, you’ll build structured intake for every legal workstream across the company, own the legal governance record (privacy registers, AI inventory, compliance calendars), manage outside counsel relationships, and own the legal tech stack. We sit at the nexus of data, AI, and collaboration, which means our legal operations have to be as thoughtful as our product. We use AI tooling across legal operations, and you’ll work the same way: building agents and automations to move faster, not as a side project but as the default way things get done here. If you see a manual workflow and instinctively want to build it away, you’ll feel right at home. What you will do: Drive CLM adoption and enablement so the revenue team self-serves on standard deals Own workflow optimization, templates, and playbooks as deal structures and products evolve First-pass review and redlining of standard agreements; draft from templates as volume requires Build and own structured intake for legal workstreams across the company Build AI-powered workflows, agents, and automations that replace manual processes Maintain the legal governance record: privacy registers, AI inventory, compliance calendars Train cross-functional teams on self-service tools and escalation paths Manage outside counsel relationships and the legal tech stack About You: 3-5+ years in legal operations, paralegal, or contract management, with at least 1-2 years in-house at a tech or SaaS company You’ve implemented or rebuilt a CLM (Ironclad preferred), designed intake workflows, and stood up reporting someone relied on Experience reviewing and redlining commercial agreements on both sell-side and buy-side paper You build with AI and automation as a natural part of how you work. You’re comfortable across AI-assisted legal tools, LLMs, and automation platforms, and willing to experiment with new ones as they emerge. This isn’t a nice-to-have at Hex. Comfortable operating with autonomy in a role with a lot of white space Good judgment about what you can handle and what needs a lawyer You care whether people actually use what you build Nice to have: Experience at a company navigating exponential growth Experience with corporate governance (entity management, board materials, annual filings) Has used Hex Strong opinions about the best way to organize a Notion workspace We know job posts like this can feel like a checklist, and nobody checks every box. If you’ve built legal ops infrastructure, you’re excited about AI, and this role sounds like the kind of work you want to do, we’d love to hear from you. In addition to our unique culture, Hex proudly offers a competitive total rewards package, including but not limited to, market-benched salary & equity, comprehensive health benefits, and flexible paid time off. The salary range for this role is: $124,125 - $165,500. The salary range shown may be a reflection of additional factors such as geographical location and skill ranges/levels we’re open to. Placement in the salary range will be decided upon completion of the interview process, taking into account factors like leaving room for growth, internal fairness & parity, your demonstrated skills, and the depth of your experience. Vercel
Headquarters: Remote - United States About Vercel: Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company, freeing people and agents to ship what's next. For more than a decade we've helped builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience. Now we're scaling our products for both agents and people to ship and run software, built in the open and trusted by OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide.About the Role: AI Gateway gives developers one place to connect applications and agents to hundreds of models with one API key. It handles provider routing and fallbacks, unifies billing and observability, and lets teams manage spend and security controls across production AI workloads. Designing this well is a systems problem. A developer should be able to choose the right model, make and verify a first request, diagnose a failed request, and configure routing, budgets, credentials, and security controls without losing sight of the application they are trying to build. The right interface might be in the dashboard, on the public model catalog, in the CLI, in an API response, or in code. You will be the Design Engineer for AI Gateway, owning product design and frontend implementation across those surfaces. You will work with customers, a Product Manager, and engineers to understand the problem, explore solutions, build the production experience, ship it, and learn from what happens after launch. AI Gateway is live, the model ecosystem changes every week, and the team can move from an observed problem to production quickly. This is a rare chance to use your product judgment, design craft, and code to shape a developer product and ship the experience yourself. You will be the design owner embedded with a Product Manager and a dedicated engineering team. You will also have the Product Design team around you for critique, collaboration, and support. AI Gateway will be your main product area, with room to pursue design-led improvements across Vercel. You will report to the Design Team. If you’re based within a pre-determined commuting distance of one of our offices (SF, NY, London, or Berlin), the role includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. If you're located beyond that distance, the role is fully remote. For location-specific details, please connect with our recruiting team. What You Will Do: Own product design and frontend implementation for meaningful parts of the journey from discovering a model to making a first successful request and operating AI in production. Design and build production experiences across the website, dashboard, CLI, and APIs, choosing the right medium for each problem. Make models, providers, credentials, routing, budgets, logs, performance, privacy, and governance understandable, then create patterns that extend across new providers, modalities, and workloads. Talk directly with customers and use product data to understand problems, define success, make tradeoffs, and improve what ships. Own quality after launch, including visual and interaction craft, accessibility, performance, resilience, instrumentation, and edge cases. Use coding agents to explore and implement ideas quickly, while testing, debugging, and taking responsibility for what ships. About You: Your work shows what you personally identified, designed, built, shipped, and learned after launch. You build production-quality web applications with React and TypeScript and can contribute confidently in a large, existing codebase. You bring strong visual and interaction craft and have made technical or data-rich products understandable without removing the control advanced users need. You can move between graphical interfaces, CLI workflows, API behavior, and implementation details, treating accessibility, performance, failure recovery, and instrumentation as part of the design. You use customer research and product data to make decisions, communicate your reasoning clearly, challenge ideas constructively, and change direction when the evidence changes. You use coding agents in your daily work, but you can explain, test, debug, and take responsibility for the code they help produce. There is no required path into this role. You may come from product design, frontend engineering, creative development, or a career that does not fit a standard title. We care about the quality of what you have shipped and the judgment behind it. Bonus If You: Have experience with developer tools, infrastructure products, model marketplaces, or observability experiences. Have worked with AI models, providers, inference platforms, guardrails, or AI application tooling. Have experience with APIs, command-line tools, structured product content, or agent-facing interfaces. Have built an application or agent with Vercel’s AI SDK or AI Gateway. See the work: AI Gateway AI Gateway documentation Browse AI models AI model leaderboards Design Engineering at Vercel Compensation & Benefits: Competitive compensation package, including equity. Inclusive Healthcare Package. Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills. Flexible Time Off. We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed. The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $208,000 - $312,000. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package may include benefits, equity-based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program depending on the role. Learn more at calm.com.What We Do At Calm we believe in making relaxation, better sleep, and mindfulness accessible to the entire world, and we hope you will help us achieve our mission. The Product & Design team is responsible for delivering Calm to our customers, ensuring that it is easy to use, supports their goals, and maintains a high level of quality across web, iOS, Android platforms. As a Senior Product Designer on our Consumer team, you'll shape experiences used by tens of millions of people to sleep better, stress less, and live more mindfully. People often reach for Calm in their most vulnerable moments, so the craft of what we make (how it looks, moves, and feels) matters enormously. This is a builder's role in the truest sense: you'll use AI and modern prototyping tools to move from insight to interactive prototype to shipped experience, not as a shortcut on quality, but to spend less time producing and more time on the judgment and detail that make an experience great. When anyone can generate a hundred screens in an afternoon, taste and judgment are the differentiators! The heart of this role is balancing velocity and craft in service of making our users healthier and happier, and building intuitive, engaging and impactful experiences that drive acquisition, engagement and retention. You'll partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Data Science, and Marketing, and set the standard for craft across iOS, Android, and web. You will be a thought leader in design, helping to establish best practices and setting the bar for exceptional product design at Calm. What You’ll Do Own end-to-end product design initiatives that cover the whole product experience (visual, interaction, motion, brand integration), to create thoughtful, high-quality user-centered mobile experiences. Prototype quickly in Figma and with AI and low-code tools like Replit, Lovable, and Claude, so you can get real, testable ideas in front of people early. Present your design work clearly and persuasively to cross-functional stakeholders (including senior leadership), give and take feedback well, anchoring your rationale to both user needs and business goals. Maintain strong attention to detail and collaboration through engineering implementation (build and QA) and post launch-iterations, to ensure high-quality execution. Use data and drive research to inform the experiences you build, and leverage performance insights to evolve your approach. Champion system-level thinking (improving how the team works and evolving Calm's design system) so the whole team works faster and smarter. Balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of execution. Who You Are Experienced Product Designer: 7+ years of experience in UX and UI design with 5+ within consumer mobile and web applications. AI-native and tooling-fluent: Highly proficient in Figma for design, and already using AI and low-code tools (Replit, Lovable, Claude) to prototype and move fast, with the judgment to know when the output is good enough and when it isn't. Technical agility: Comfortable shipping small code changes without engineering support, bridging the gap between design and engineering by personally shipping copy and UI polish directly. A builder: Biased toward shipping and iterating over perfect plans. You'd rather put a working prototype in front of people than write a doc about one. Data- and research-informed: You fold both qualitative and quantitative insight into your design decisions, and you measure whether the work landed. A strong collaborator: A low-ego, trusted partner to Product, Research, and Engineering who makes the people around them better and helps sharpen how the team works. High craft standards: A strong advocate for accessibility, consistency, visual storytelling, brand integration, and motion design to create engaging user experiences, while still maintaining velocity. A clear communicator: You present your thinking persuasively to stakeholders and senior leadership, give and take feedback well, and champion an experience while staying open to being wrong. Nice to Haves Experience with conversational or AI-native UX. Experience working at multiple organizations, ideally including time at a consumer product in a fast-paced startup environment. A strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to design and ship beautiful, functional, and user-friendly experiences. Comfort shipping small copy and UI changes directly in code, without engineering support. A passion for Calm's mission and a point of view on how digital products can support mental health. Minimum Requirements 7+ years in UX/UI design with 5+ within consumer mobile (and web) applications. Proven experience driving user testing and research. Strong foundation in interaction design, visual design, and usability best practices. Experience designing and shipping mobile applications at scale. Hands-on proficiency in Figma and modern AI/prototyping tools. Ability to work independently while contributing to a larger design vision and strategy. 2026年10月1日远程 - Senior Software Engineer - Client Lifecycle at Virta Health
Virta Health
Virta Health is on a mission to reverse metabolic disease in one billion people. Current treatment approaches aren’t working—over half of US adults have either type 2 diabetes or prediabetes, and obesity rates are at an all-time high. Virta is changing this by helping people reverse their metabolic condition through innovations in technology, personalized nutrition, and virtual care delivery reinvented from the ground up. We have raised over $350 million from top-tier investors, and partner with the largest health plans, employers, and government organizations to help their employees and members restore their health and take back their lives. Join us on our mission to reverse metabolic disease in one billion people. As a Senior Software Engineer on ReCon (Revenue & Contracts), you’ll build the systems that turn care delivered into revenue recognized. ReCon owns Virta’s quote-to-cash path end to end: how customer contracts and pricing are configured, how clinical events become billable episodes of care, how subscriptions and invoices are generated, how claims reach payors, and how we prove all of it reconciles across commercial, billing, and our clinical data. National health plans, PBMs, and large employers depend on the data we produce not just to pay us, but to bill their own clients — so correctness here is a customer-facing product, not back-office plumbing. Responsibilities Lead projects end to end: take an ambiguous problem from a finance, RCM, or client-facing stakeholder, shape it into a design, drive it through review, and own it in production. Build and extend the Go services behind Virta’s quote-to-cash path — contract and pricing configuration, billable event generation, subscription and invoice management, and claims submission. Make billing correctness provable. Expand the assertion and reconciliation framework that catches discrepancies across Salesforce, Zuora, and our clinical data before they ever reach a customer invoice. Improve the reconciliation and billing data our health plan and employer partners depend on — not just to pay us, but to bill their own clients. Design self-service tools so finance, RCM, and client operations can configure contracts, correct data, and run bulk changes without an engineer in the loop. Apply AI where it earns its place. Raise the bar around you through design and code review, and mentor engineers on the team. 90 Day Plan Within your first 90 days at Virta, we expect you will do the following: First 30 days: Production PR merged and deployed; can whiteboard the money path unprompted; has independently found at least one thing that’s wrong. 60 days: A TDD survived architecture review; Stakeholders start to recognize you and work on building a future-looking feature/project with you. 90 days: Owns an ambiguous problem and proceeds towards completion with a product mindset; another engineer’s design got better because of your review. Must-Haves 5+ years building and operating backend services in production, in Go or another statically typed language Experience with event-driven architectures and the failure modes that come with them — eventual consistency, ordering, idempotency, and systems that disagree with each other Strong SQL, and comfort working across both application code and the analytics layer You’ve owned a system where correctness had consequences outside the company — billing, payments, claims, ledgers, or regulated reporting A track record of working directly with non-engineering stakeholders: turning a finance or operations problem into a design, and explaining the tradeoffs back Experience with a major cloud platform (we use GCP) Working with AI to accelerate development workflows and enhance the SDLC Experience in frontend development with React and Typescript. Values-driven culture Virta’s company values drive our culture, so you’ll do well if: You put people first and take care of yourself, your peers, and our patients equally You have a strong sense of ownership and take initiative while empowering others to do the same You prioritize positive impact over busy work You have no ego and understand that everyone has something to bring to the table regardless of experience You appreciate transparency and promote trust and empowerment through open access of information You are evidence-based and prioritize data and science over seniority or dogma You take risks and rapidly iterate Is this role not quite what you’re looking for? Join our Talent Community and follow us on Linkedin to stay connected! Virta has a location based compensation structure. Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. For this role, the compensation range is 161,500 - 232,500. Information about Virta’s benefits is on our Careers page at: https://www.virtahealth.com/careers . As part of your duties at Virta, you may come in contact with sensitive patient information that is governed by HIPAA. Throughout your career at Virta, you will be expected to follow Virta’s security and privacy procedures to ensure our patients’ information remains strictly confidential. Security and privacy training will be provided. As a remote-first company, our team is spread across various locations with office hubs in Denver and San Francisco. Clinical roles: We currently do not hire in the following states: AK, HI, RI Corporate roles: We currently do not hire in the following states: AK, AR, DE, HI, ME, MS, NM, OK, SD, VT, WI. Virta uses Ashby as its applicant tracking system, which incorporates AI-powered tools (provided by OpenAI, AWS, and Google Gemini) in certain aspects of the recruiting process, including application review, candidate screening, and interview note taking; your data is not used to train AI models, and all final hiring decisions are made by Virta Health personnel. 2026年10月1日远程 - Staff Software Engineer, Data Platform at Beacon Biosignals
Beacon Biosignals
Beacon Biosignals is transforming precision medicine for the brain, from clinical development to clinical care. For Life Sciences partners, we offer the leading at-home EEG platform for clinical development of novel therapeutics for neurological, psychiatric, and sleep disorders. Our Diagnostics business is building the most comprehensive at-home platform for precision diagnostics, combining EEG and cardiopulmonary signals to deliver reimbursable assessments for sleep and central nervous system disorders. Together, we’re changing the way patients are diagnosed and treated for any disorder that affects brain physiology. Beacon Biosignals is seeking a Software Engineer IV to join our Datastore team. The Datastore sits at the heart of Beacon’s platform. It defines our foundational data model and serves as the centralized repository and API for brain data collected from clinical studies, supporting the analytical tools, services, and applications used by our scientists, clinicians, and partners. This role emphasizes the design and scaling of backend systems for data infrastructure: PostgreSQL data models, Kafka-driven event pipelines, and the GraphQL API that makes scientific and clinical data usable - distinct from frontend development or end-user product surfaces. At this level you will lead the design of complex systems within the Datastore rather than individual components, own the pipelines that deliver dataset snapshots into our warehouse, and collaborate across platform, application and scientific teams to implement APIs that unlock new workflows in Beacon’s expanding portfolio of clinical studies and digital health products. You should have experience writing complex SQL queries by hand, and should be prepared to reason about schema design, indexes, and query behavior as a matter of course. Two properties of our system that shape our work may influence your application. Our GraphQL API is generated from the PostgreSQL schema using PostGraphile, so a schema decision is an API decision. Secondly, row-level security is in force on effectively every table, because clinical data from different studies and partners shares one schema, with some rows shared for access by multiple internal teams. RLS predicates get injected into your queries, which makes reasoning about query plans genuinely harder here than it is in most places. If that sounds interesting rather than tedious, you’ll enjoy this team. We are hiring two engineers into this role, with two different centers of gravity. One will focus on the breadth of the Datastore: the event pipelines, the GraphQL API, core data models, and third-party integrations. The other will focus on depth in PostgreSQL (data modeling, performance tuning, operations) and supporting all engineers in developing schemas and the access controls that protect clinical data. The core requirements are the same. Tell us which one you are most drawn to in your application. This role is 100% remote from anywhere in the U.S. Beacon’s robust asynchronous work practices ensure a first-class remote work experience, but we also have in-person office hubs in Boston, New York City, and Paris. What success looks like You lead design and architecture for complex projects and systems within the Datastore, weighing implementation trade-offs with engineering principles and backing your decisions with data rather than preference You partner with product managers, scientific and clinical stakeholders, and other development and support teams to translate their requirements into new integrations, services, and solutions for scaling Beacon’s data platform - contributing to broader product and technical decisions, not simply implementing them You debug and profile ambiguous problems that cross system boundaries, including codebases beyond the Datastore’s purview, and you leave what you touch better than you found it — structure, test coverage, tooling Peers look to your work as an example: you implement features with attention to detail, demonstrating product awareness and high standards for data integrity, design soundness, and maintainability across the lifespan of the system You draft RFCs to lead complex feature discovery and technical design phases, soliciting and incorporating input, and helping your team align on a set of decisions to guide development You plan your own work and contribute to planning the team’s, making reasoned trade-offs between speed, generalizability, and technical debt, and accounting for the needs of multiple stakeholder teams You teach and mentor other engineers regularly, give feedback that people act on, and are sought out for it. You may act as tech lead on a project or as the coordination point for engineering practice within the team You leverage feedback from internal stakeholders and external partners to improve operational robustness and ease of use of the Datastore and its services via new documentation, tools, and dashboards What you will bring 7+ years of backend development experience, including at least 3 years focused on data platforms and backend infrastructure for data-centric applications: transactional systems, event pipelines, and the APIs that serve them Highly proficient in at least one technical area relevant to this work: data modeling, distributed systems, API design, or database engineering, with the depth that others on a team come to you for Strong proficiency in SQL, with production experience working with PostgreSQL as an application database; you write and tune queries fluently and are comfortable reasoning about schema design, indexes, and query plans Hands-on experience with data streaming and event processing, using Kafka (our event bus) or an equivalent such as RabbitMQ, Pulsar, or a cloud-based equivalent like Amazon Kinesis Proficiency in Julia or Python; Julia is a core Datastore language, and experience with Julia is a strong plus, but not required — we welcome candidates eager to learn it! Experience deploying and operating services in containerized environments, with familiarity in Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and/or Helm A track record of mentoring engineers and improving how a team works - practices, tooling, test coverage, or documentation that outlasted your involvement A collaborative mindset: you enjoy working across disciplines and believe people achieve more together than alone Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in asynchronous and remote-friendly environments A self-directed approach, with a track record of thriving in hybrid or fully remote teams Experience with, or interest in, using LLM-assisted or agentic coding tools in a production setting, with good judgment about what guardrails are needed For the Datastore Systems role: You can lead design across the breadth of the platform. GraphQL and TypeScript/JavaScript (Node.js) - GraphQL is the Datastore’s primary interface, and this profile owns significant parts of it Designing event-driven pipelines end to end: producers, consumers, replay, idempotency, and what happens when a consumer falls behind Leading the design of complex systems rather than individual components, across the API, the pipelines, and the services that depend on them For the PostgreSQL & Data Modeling role: You can be the person the rest of the team comes to about the database. Deep PostgreSQL: you reason fluently about the query planner, index selection, and EXPLAIN (ANALYZE), and why a query that should be fast isn’t Data modeling: you design the schema itself: entities, relationships, and the constraints that make invalid states impossible. Including how to model time, since clinical results get re-scored and corrected and we need to answer “what did this look like when the report was signed?” Schema evolution under load: zero-downtime migrations, dual-write transitions, lock avoidance, backfill and verification. Our schema has hundreds of migrations behind it and will have hundreds more Operating PostgreSQL in production, not only designing for it: upgrades, replication, backup and restore, connection pooling, bloat and vacuum behaviour, extensions Making others good at it: you teach, review, and document, because a schema only stays coherent if the team understands it We don’t expect every candidate to check every box. If you bring strong fundamentals, care about data infrastructure for health, and are excited to learn, we’d love to hear from you! The US-based salary range for this role is $170,000 – $190,000. Salary ranges are determined using current market compensation data for this role and adjusted based on experience, skills, and location. The base salary is one component of the total compensation package, which includes equity, PTO and other benefits. At Beacon, we’ve found that cultural and scientific impact is driven most by those that lead by example. As such, we’re always seeking new contributors whose work demonstrates an avid curiosity, a bias towards simplicity, an eye for composability, a self-service mindset, and - most of all - a deep empathy towards colleagues, stakeholders, users, and patients. We believe a diverse team builds more robust systems and achieves higher impact.

Independently determine the technical approach needed to take loosely defined AI-powered concepts from idea to a functional, testable POC. Create realistic customer simulations that can be tested with internal and external audiences. Explore how to ground, guide, and evaluate AI experiences using customer profile data, customer context, and human-defined guardrails. Connect prototypes to content libraries, AI SDKs, and staging systems. Contribute reusable AI and application capabilities to our prototyping platform. Use AI-native development workflows with tools like Cursor, Claude, Copilot, and similar technologies. Help define practical guardrails for safe, reliable, and brand-appropriate customer-facing AI experiences. Use feedback from user and customer testing to iterate on prototypes and explore new approaches. What you’ll need Strong frontend or mobile software engineering skills and the ability to write code independently, with experience building web or native mobile applications using React, Angular, or similar frameworks. Experience with iOS development is a plus. Hands-on experience integrating and applying AI technologies, models, or services within applications, prototypes, or customer experiences. Experience working with applied AI technologies such as LLMs, conversational AI, recommendation or decisioning systems, personalization, retrieval/grounding, agents, or generative AI. Demonstrated ability to independently take an ambiguous AI-powered concept, determine how to build it, and deliver a functional POC or prototype. Experience integrating APIs, cloud services, data sources, and external systems. Familiarity with AI-native development tools such as Cursor, Claude, Copilot, or similar technologies. Strong product and design instincts and an appreciation for great customer experiences. Comfort with ambiguity and rapid iteration. Experience incorporating user or customer feedback into prototypes and iterating based on what you learn.
